As project partners prepare for the upcoming public meetings when they will unveil the synthesized framework plan, they have also been working on finalizing the alternative site plans for each of the 10 parks in the planning area. To learn more about these parks and their potential, read the last Dayton Riverfront Plan blog post.

The details of the individual park plans respond to the consolidated framework plan developed from the myriad community input collected during October. While the plans respond to the specific corridor concepts that were shared in the last blog, the individual alternatives will articulate two visions for achieving what is proposed by the framework.

As part of the community input process, the planning partners invite the public to take the online survey and attend tomorrow’s public meetings to provide feedback.

The public input that is collected over the next few days will allow the consultants to refine the park site plans into the final proposal for each site. These final plans will be rolled out to the public in the coming weeks, after which the partners will work with the consultants to prioritize projects.

Again, be sure to take the online survey and attend a public meeting tomorrow to provide your input:

Dayton Riverfront Plan Public Meetings:

Tuesday, Jan. 23, from noon to 2 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. at the Dayton Metro Library Community Room, 2nd floor.
